Premieră: ROMBAT, expozant la Equip Auto - 11.10.'11
Producătorul român de acumulatori auto ROMBAT SA participă în acest an ca expozant, pentru prima dată, la prestigiosul târg de echipamente auto Equip Auto de la Paris, care se desfășoară în perioada 11 – 15 octombrie. Compania bistrițeană are ca partener de expoziție firma franceză MINERVA OIL.
Rombat lanseaza, pe 19 iulie (a.c.), o noua gama de produse, bateriile TERRA HD: Terra - pentru autovehicule cu putere medie si echipate standard, Terra Plus - pentru autovehicule cu cerere de putere medie, echipamente electrice aditionale si conditii dure de drum si Terra Pro - pentru autovehicule cu cerere de putere superioara, echipament electric superior si conditii dure de drum.

Rebat's main activity is the recycling of the lead from used batteries. It is located in the industrial area of Copsa Mica, being the first bright of color on a surface covered by smut. It extends on a surface of 1.9 ha, of which about 0.5 ha represents the production hall and its extensions. The first technological tests began in the autumn of 2005. From the beginning until now, the level of production and the yield of lead extraction have increased constantly and correspondent consumptions have diminished. Upgrades have been made to the production chain and a new management crew has been formed. These aspects have led to the achievement of better industrial results. The quality of the resulted lead is similar with the one offered by the biggest European producers. SC Rombat SA has prepared a project of modernization and an increase of the output capacity up to 20,000 tons/year. Collection + Recovery of the used batteries with Rombat = Resources for Romania. One can contribute to the reduction of natural resources consumption by returning the used batteries through the collection-valuation Rombat network, according to HG 1132/2008 regarding the legal system of batteries and battery wastes. SC Rombat SA, producer of lead acid batteries, collects the used batteries, with the purpose of their usage in the Rebat Copsa Mica recycling plant. Rombat distributes batteries in more than 3.000 stores across the country. Remember! Each year, circa 30,000 tons of used batteries are placed on the Romanian market. The acid battery with lead does not have and impact on the environment when it is in use.
